Site Update 4/9
Some very cool new features have just been unveiled on YouTube, check 'em out...
VIDEO SHARING IMPROVEMENTS
We revamped the video watch page by adding more sharing features and a new streamlined design to the Share, Favourite, Playlists and Flag sections. We now show some top social sharing sites directly on the video watch page, making it easier for you to share your favourite videos with your network. These top sites are also personalised based on your usage - so if you Digg more often than you Facebook, Digg will show up instead. Video comments and responses have also been reorganised into a "Commentary" tab, including thumbnails for video responses and a handy scroll bar for easier navigation. The new "Statistics & Data" tab houses collapsible sections for recent ratings, video honors and sites linking to that video.
ADVANCED SEARCH OPTIONS
New advanced search options are now available anywhere you see a search field on YouTube. Just click "advanced search" to choose the results you want, based on different key word combinations such as exact phrases, all words, excluding certain words, etc.. You can also hone down your results further to find videos matching specific upload criteria like language, category, date uploaded, duration of video, as well as videos uploaded within a specific time period (i.e. "This Month, "This Week" and "Today").
MULTIFILE UPLOADER FOR MAC
When we launched our multifile uploader for Windows PC users last year, we promised to follow it up with a Mac-friendly version. Now Mac users can download the software and access the Multifile Upload page where you can upload several videos at once. Each video may be up to 10 minutes in length and up to 1GB in size, and all will be available in My Videos after processing.

Why not use something like Adobe AIR for a cross-platform uploader?
just a little aside - it'd be nice if there could be one thumb up and one thumb down on people's comments, to see how many peeps have agreed and disagreed with what they've said rather than just one generic one, if that maketh sense. I dunno, just rambling, s'late.
The latest update has unfortunately caused problems in the old Mozilla (1.7.xx) browsers.
In the file http://s.ytimg.com/yt/js/base_all_with_bidi-vfl37552.js on Line: 2803 change the regular expression from
/http:\/\/[^/]*/ to
/http:\/\/[^\/]*/ (yes, it's a single slash)

Is there not an option to have classic youtube homepage? Because frankly, the new one is bad. The worst videos that have been tagged with sex for the hell of it get on the homepage. There's less featured videos on show now, and worse ones for that matter. Lastly, moving the modules is a pain and sometimes they don't remember their new positions. Basically I want a 'classic view' link. Because this has been the worst update for ages. =]
And that happens when I try to refresh the page, even though the button says its already been posting.
In short, the more you update this place, the worse its getting.

Your new features for videos is terrible! I have an angry complaint I wish to make to you about your video qualities, Every time I watch a video , the video appears jerky, and it never runs smoothly. I have changed my playback settings to a fast connection in my account like you said to do in the help feature, i even deleted my temp internet files as that is also in your help feature, nothing works! Change it will you!

YouTube allows rapists to post degrading films where women are raped and beaten. The flagging system does not work and these films are shared freely by underage users

What is happening to the comments that say they are posted but aren't there when I refresh the page? This is extremely bothersome when I've written something specific, with details. It's so bad that now I copy my comment in case I have to reenter it! That's messed up!
AND it just happened AGAIN! What is happening to comments and why are they not posting? I'm sooo damned tired of having to copy what I've written to reenter it if it's not there when the page is refreshed! Please, PLEASE fix this! Thank you.
