Flagging At YouTube: The Basics
The YouTube flagging system works best when you take the time to understand our Community Guidelines before you flag a video. Then, if you come across a video that you think may not belong on YouTube, it will be easier for you to let us know the reason you flagged it, whether it be for hate speech, nudity, violence, or another guideline violation. Once a video is flagged, we review it quickly, and if we find that it shouldn't be on YouTube, we remove it within hours. It's as simple as that.
Lots of users ask us questions about flagging. Whether you're brand new to the Community Guidelines or looking to get a flagging refresher, check out this new video to get a closer look at how it works.
The next time you come across inappropriate content on the site, flag it!
We're counting on you.

Why can't we flag a whole user channel? See this page for example...

He is professing to be a famous individual he is not, and is doing actual damange to the person whose identity he has assumed.

What if someone comes across material that is very obviously re-uploaded from someone else's channel? I came across one user who had re-posted someone's original work and gave it a false title just to garner more views. It doesn't infringe MY copyright or whatever, but it certainly does to the original artist if permission wasn't sought. There should be some way in overcoming this.
There's a video that needs flagging, but the options don't match the problem.
This video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=a2-IK-8qKqk is a scam, fine, that's flaggable. My problem is the title - the member calls the video "Instructable". This term is copyright to the website www.instructables.com which is a legitimate "show and tell" site, and does not endorse or approve of this kind of scam. I work on the site, as part of the Feature team, but the copyright is not *mine* - can I still report it?
